Welcome to The Force Analysis Institute or FAI. I am Dr. Erik Luker, the founder of this organization, and I am passionate about enhancing the skills and capabilities of law enforcement and security professionals through top-tier training and expert consultation.

My Journey

My journey in the field of law enforcement and security has been both challenging and rewarding. As a United States Marine, I served in combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, gaining invaluable experience and a profound understanding of tactical operations and decision-making under pressure. Following my military service, I transitioned to a career in corrections and law enforcement, where I served as a corrections officer and later as a police lieutenant.

Educational and Professional Credentials

I am a proud graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, which provided me with advanced training in law enforcement leadership and management. I also hold a Doctorate Degree from Northeastern University, where I conducted extensive research on the use of force and its implications in modern policing. Instructor Experience

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to sharing my expertise with others. I taught at the police academy as a classroom instructor and a defensive tactics instructor, where I helped shape the next generation of law enforcement professionals. I am a certified instructor in Gracie Survival Tactics and a certified defensive tactics instructor by the FBI. These certifications reflect my commitment to providing the highest quality training in use of force tactics and defensive skills.

Athletic Achievements

In addition to my professional accomplishments, I have been honored to represent Team USA in 2023. As a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I bring a unique perspective on defensive tactics and physical fitness, which I integrate into our training programs at The Force Analysis Institute.
